Update from the Principal.
Dear Parents,
I hope you are having a great summer and relaxing with family wherever you are.
I thought I would write a very brief update for all parents each week in the lead up to our new school year to keep everyone informed of developments and plans ahead of the new school year. During the academic year, those families who have been with us at Nadeen School will know that each Thursday during the school year, I will write a general update from the school to keep you informed of what is going on and our plans ahead.
First of all, it is extremely exciting! Seeing the building slowly come together is a process that is enjoyed and savoured as this happens only once and it is a privilege to be a part of this. The site tours have continued (More this weekend) and it is wonderful to see the reactions from families as they see the learning spaces and facilities take shape ahead of the new term.
A few general updates below:
- We have said goodbye to our campus in Umm Al Hassam, a very special place that has provided a wonderful environment for so many families over the years, Please click here to read about Saying Goodbye to Umm Al Hassam – July 2023
- Our new campus looks amazing! Everything is on schedule to be ready for the start of the year and we are very excited. We have shared photos of the classrooms, playground spaces, sports facilities and our beautiful performance theatre! Click here to view our facilities.
- This week we have had many projects completed including technology deliveries, new chromebooks, portable screens, interactive TVs and much more!
- We are now in a cycle of cleaning and look forward to another deep clean this week. The cleaning is in full operation each day to ensure we have a safe, clean and beautiful campus to start with.
- We have now welcomed all new staff to the school and look forward to everyone meeting one another at the Orientation Day on Thursday 24th August from 9.00am to 12 noon. This is an informal event for all members of the community to come to meet, mix and mingle and to get to know new students, families and teachers. We look forward to seeing you there!

- Our school calendars are on the website showing you all holidays and school days this year so you can plan ahead. Please click here to see a printable landscape calendar. A copy of all school celebration events in Term 1,2 and 3 will be distributed during the first week of term.

- For information regarding the bus and transport to the new campus please click here.
- New classes, class lists and teachers – on Thursday 17th August, all parents will receive an email from the class teacher with an introduction and relevant information ahead of the new school year.

The images below show the arrivals of our new staff, many of which are experiencing Bahrain for the first time! We are looking forward to the Orientation Day and family Social event on Thursday 24th August when you can meet everyone at school. As mentioned above, this starts at 9.00am through to 12 noon. Information regarding parking will be sent out soon.
