Teacher Feature – Mr Ahmed

Briefly describe your journey as a teacher.

I graduated with a BA in Arabic Studies from the Faculty of Education at Alexandria University in Egypt in 2009. Soon after, I began teaching Arabic to non-Arabs. In 2014, I moved to Bahrain and taught at two schools before joining Nadeen in 2023. During my time at these schools, I taught Arabic studies (including Arabic language, Islamic studies, Citizenship, and Social Studies) to both Arab and non-Arab students. I also taught Digital Citizenship and coding to middle and high school students. My passion for Education Technology started in 2016 with Google for Education. I have since completed numerous courses and earned several certificates, and I was recently appointed the Google for Education Leader for the Bahrain Community.

Why did you decide to specialise in your chosen area?

I’m passionate about making Arabic learning accessible and engaging for all students. My focus is on simplifying the language and showcasing its relevance to modern life. I believe students should see Arabic not just as a historical language, but as a dynamic tool that supports their future ambitions and connects them to fields like finance, economics, history, and business. This aligns perfectly with the interests of the new generation, who seek subjects that are both practical and engaging.
