Gulf Musician Idol Competition by Mr Tom
Over the last few months, a number of Nadeen School musicians have been performing in front of an audience during morning drop off and assemblies. This has given them the opportunity to showcase their musical talent, and to prepare for taking part in a competition.
Harmony Music Centre recently hosted the Gulf Musician Idol Competition 2023 in Bahrain. Over two-hundred participants aged six to twenty from Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait showcased their musical talents in the qualifying rounds and one-hundred contestants progressed to the final rounds.
The competition stands out as a platform for young music students to shine on an international stage, and Mr Tom, along with an esteemed international panel of judges, including experts from Europe, Asia and Latin America, was privileged to be able to adjudicate during the finals. The competition was fierce, where many talented Nadeen Musicians won gold and silver medals.
