Months of tireless preparation, unwavering support from families, and the collective efforts of dedicated staff culminated in a truly remarkable production that captivated audiences and left a lasting impression on all who experienced it.

For the students involved, the journey began months in advance, with auditions sparking excitement and anticipation for what was to come. From the moment they secured their roles, a whirlwind of rehearsals, both evening and weekend, consumed their days as they poured their hearts and souls into perfecting their performances. The dedication and commitment displayed by each student were truly commendable, as they worked tirelessly to master their lines, choreography, and musical numbers under the guidance of their talented musical director, Mr. Tom.

One thing I absolutely loved about the work for the production was the mutual friendship between the cast.Throughout the time, I was always met by adjustments, constructive criticism, and praise wherever I looked!

In the end, the production of Matilda at Nadeen School was not just a performance—it was a testament to the power of dedication, teamwork, and creativity. It showcased the incredible talent and passion of the students, the unwavering support of their families, and the dedication of the staff who worked tirelessly to bring their vision to life. As the applause faded and the lights dimmed, one thing was clear: the magic of Matilda will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to be a part of this unforgettable experience.

I have had the best time acting in Matilda, thanks to friends, teachers and the experience itself. The teachers have put in a lot of effort to help us shine on stage. Those who audition shouldn’t be afraid or nervous, you should enjoy yourself and let those theatrical juices flow. If acting or singing is your passion, then I say go for it! Though you have to attend weekend rehearsals, skip classes and break times, the final result is all worth it.
