Mr. James Weekly Reflection
Dear Nadeen Family,
As I shared in my little video clip with our fantastic Ms. Kacey, the EY Sports Day was my absolute highlight this week. The morning was filled with fun, wonderful conversations with parents and families, and, of course, where there’s music, you can always count on Ms. Shanee and the EY team to be dancing away!
For me, these moments, where we come together as a community and share experiences, are among the greatest joys of being the Principal of Nadeen. At our school, “community” and “belonging” are not just buzzwords; they are lived values, and I am incredibly grateful to be part of this journey with all of you.
I know Mr. Danny and Ms. Lauren also enjoyed welcoming parents into school today for coffee, conversation, and book looks. These opportunities are a key part of our ongoing commitment to developing strong parent partnerships and ensuring that you are actively engaged in the learning process.
This week, our staff have also been engaging in training on Supporting ALL Brains, which has been incredibly well received. We are now planning to run a session for parents as well so if you are interested in learning more, please do reach out to our Assistant Principal, Ms. Emma. Speaking of Ms. Emma, I want to give her a huge shout-out as she has been at the BSME conference in Abu Dhabi, where she presented on supporting neurodivergent learners. We are all so proud of her for championing inclusion and sharing Nadeen’s approach on such an important stage. #Inclusion
Finally, let’s wish the Nadeen athletes the very best of luck as they compete in the BSME Games this weekend. We are so proud of them – Go Nadeen!
Thank you all for your continued support, enthusiasm, and dedication to making Nadeen such a special place.

Kind regards,
Mr. James Batts
